The Vessel
The Reliance II is a 38ft (11.5m) aluminium
planing hull in full charter survey. Licensed to carry 16 passengers and 2 crew, the vessel is equipped with full safety gear, an electric
on-board toilet, a large fully covered deck (removable), ample seating, icebox and dry storage area.
The Reliance II was purpose built for
the Grunsell's as the Government Shark Meshing vessel for the Newcastle area in 1981, and since then has carried out
shark meshing contracts,
charter and commercial fishing in the Newcastle, Swansea, Central Coast and South Sydney ports. It is an extremely stable and reliable vessel,
well suited for comfortable fishing chartering.
