Here at Reliance II Charters, all our fishing charters are personalised to suit each group that comes to us. Whether you’re planning a work outing, bucks night, birthday party, or just spending some time with friends, we can offer the atmosphere to suit you. Group transport can be also arranged, as we want make this as easy and stress-free as possible.
All your catches (and with Paul’s experience of local fishing grounds, there definitely will be some big catches) is cleaned and bagged for you, ready for you to take home when you disembark.
The Vessel
The Reliance II is a fully surveyed charter vessel, licensed to carry 16 passengers and 2 crew members. We usually recommend a minimum of 7 people and a maximum of 14 people for passenger comfort. However, individual bookings can also be arranged. Just give us a call!
The safety of our passengers is our number one priority and with that in mind, our vessel is equipped with all of the latest electronics, including GPS and ColourSounder, to keep you as safe as possible.
Charter Packages
On the Reliance II, we want to provide fishing charters which are as enjoyable, relaxing and fun as possible. So whether you’re a novice fisherman or a skilled expert, we cater to all skills and levels. We offer half-day fishing charters, 4 hour fishing charters, as well as lake and coastal cruises.
- Half-day fishing charters leave the wharf at 6:00am and return at approximately 1:00pm (or depart at 7:00am to return at 2:00pm if preferable)
- Afternoon fishing charters depart at approximately 2:00pm
- 4-hour fishing charters (deep sea or lake trips) are also available
- Lake and coastal cruises catering for up to 16 passengers are available on request
- Individual bookings can be arranged
- Gift vouchers are available
All fishing charters include good quality rods and reels, bait and tackle. Furthermore, they come fully catered with soft drinks provided, although you are welcome to BYO alcohol.
- Half-day charters include breakfast (our famous Toads-in-the-Hole) plus morning tea and a barbeque lunch
- Afternoon charters include nibbles and a barbeque tea on board
- Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided on 4-hour charters, and lake and coastal Cruises
